Our process

Whole-person care for mind and body: expert psychiatric consultation and personalized recommendations tailored to you.

What to expect

As a consultation-only psychiatry practice, we do not provide ongoing care but instead offer support through thorough evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and personalized plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual. We provide actionable insights and clear follow-up guidance to help with symptom management, improve quality of life, and enhance overall functioning.

Before your session, we’ll send you forms and questionnaires to help collect relevant background information. This gives you the opportunity to share your concerns, while also providing a clearer understanding of your health and wellness history.

During the evaluation, Dr. Larson will review all of your provided information and collect any additional details needed, then work with you to develop a personalized plan. If desired, we can also collaborate with your current care team and other support networks. Follow-up care is managed by your existing team, with recommendations and guidance provided by CORE Choice, as our services are consultation-based.

Your plan will be designed specifically for you. Each aspect of your plan will be aligned with your goals and preferences.

Collaborative communication

With your permission, we provide updates for seamless communication between primary care providers, specialists, and patients.

Fees

CORE Choice is a private-pay (self-pay) practice and does not bill or contract with any insurance. The practice is not able to provide services to Medicare or Medicaid beneficiaries. Fees are discussed and agreed on before any consultation begins, and payment is due at the time of service. This model allows for focused, confidential, unhurried care tailored to each client.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate. A Good Faith Estimate is provided in writing before services begin; you can request one through the contact page. Learn more at CMS.gov.

Because all care is virtual, CORE Choice does not prescribe controlled substances.
